  Both of my kids attended BB and did well. However, my first grade teacher Ms. P was by far the worst teacher ever. She forgot to send stuff home at times, she says one thing at the parent teachers mtgs., but means another. At times she seemed incompetent. Several parents felt this way, but only amongst other parents. My child digressed in reading and language arts, but did well outside the classroom in kumon. Teachers should be evaluated at the end of the school year. Don't think administration cates however.

  My daughter is special needs and was referred to the early intervention program. Typically this process in other districts (from what other parents say) is painstaking and filled with aggravation and begging for the appropriate services. I was so impressed by the kindness, caring and compassion shown from the beginning of the process at the child study team office to the initial evaluation with Mrs. Wexler at young school. Although the time had passed for summer evaluations, she made a concerted effort to push to get things done before school started and she did. It was evident that Mrs. Wexler took pride in her job and in the professionals within B. Bernice Young School. The evaluation process superseded my expectations and I am so grateful and proud to have seen my daughters needs being met in the most thorough and efficient manner. Furthermore, the specialists and teachers at B.Bernice Young are phenomenal. We had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Spencer, Mrs. Moore, Ms. Merz, Ms. Baker, Ms. Judy, Mrs. Solomon, Ms. Alyssa Ballard, the OTs, PTs, guidance counselors and so many others down to the ladies in the lunchroom and main office. I could not have asked for a more dedicated group of individuals in which to place my daughter in their care. My daughter has made unbelievable progress in her three years at Young school and I owe everyone she has had contact with there my sincerest thanks and appreciation. I have seen her blossom and in this environment she has improved beyond the expectations of her doctors and therapists outside of school. Burlington Township residents are very fortunate to have such a wonderful school for our children.

  I was wrongly accused of shoplifting and M.R. Cohen, Esquire was able to save my a--. I first tried a Public Defender who was too busy to listen to me. Worse, I don’t think he BELIEVED me. He told me to plead guilty even though I was innocent. I’m a student and couldn’t have this on my record and get the job I’m studying for. Although I didn’t think I could afford someone with Mr. Cohen’s 30+ years experience and contacts, Mr. Cohen seemed to care more about what happened to me than his fee. He treated me more like a son than client. Mr. Cohen told me to fight the case! Mr. Cohen happened to know the Prosecutor and was also able to persuade the police and the store to drop the charges! God Bless you Mr. Cohen!

  If I could leave no stars I would. Very poor customer service and dishonest application process. I am full time student and work full time. before filling out the applicatiom i was sure to read ALL fine print to avoidany surprises. It clearly states that co signers are only accepted if a parent cosigns for a child or vice versa. I had my father cosign & was told only AFTER paying the NONREFUNDABLE application fee that co signers only work if you are a full time student or retired parent, conveniently it said NOTHING of this in the fine print. After explaining that I am a full time student Kathy the leasing agent begins stuttering over her words to find another reason to decline. After talking in circles age then says oh well it looks like you said on your application that you had an account go into collections 3 years ago in 2015? I say yes but it was paid off. She says oh well that doesn't matter because it still shows on your credit report. Mind you they never actually ran my credit but are keeping the application fee... Very shady business.
